- Understanding FPGA Design:

About The Speaker:
Ramachandra Gambheer has about 18 years of overall experience which includes 9 years of teaching in KREC,
Surathkal and the remaining in the industry. He is the joint recipient of VLSI'99 International
award for the FPGA based design. His main area of work includes embedded systems design and test.
Currently he is the Director OF Intellitech India Pvt.Ltd., Bangalore.
About The Workshop:
Looking at the recent advancement in the development of Digital Design using FPGA,
IEEE SVCE Student Branch has organized "Two day Industry Oriented Tutorials on UNDERSTANDING FPGA DESIGN"
on the 27th and 28th September 2008 for the benefit of students belonging to ECE,EEE and TC with the objective
to provide a platform for interaction among students and industrial Entrepreneurs to discuss about the recent advances ,
current developments, Technological trends and Challenges in the field of Digital Systems using HDL's and FPGA.
- Seminar on Set Top Box: On 7th October 2008 By Navneetha Krishnan.
About The Speaker:
Mr. Navneetha Krishnan is presently the Technology Manager at Pace Micro Technology India Pvt Ltd.,.
He brings with him 23 years of rich experience in product development in Television Broadcast and Consumer
Electronics Industries. He has developed several STB solutions during his career.
Navneetha Krishnan has a Masters degree in Digital Signal Processing And Post Graduate Diploma In Advanced
Communication Systems from Indian Institute Of Technology, Kanpur and BE in Electronics And Communication from
Anna University.

About The Speaker:
Sri M.R.Kesheorey, Scientist 'G' is Associate Director at Centre for Artificial Intelligence and Robotics (CAIR).
He is also heading Technology development Division in CAIR where he is guiding various projects.
He is an expert of secure communication and has designed and developed very useful secrecy equipment for the country.
He has more than 20 Technical Papers in various International and National journals to his credit.
He is now a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, IEEE, USA. Fellow of Institute of Electronics
and Telecommunication Engineers, IETE, India and Life member of Society of Electronics Engineers, SEE India.
He was editor of Electro Technology (ET) a journal of SEE for four years.
