The fifth Alumni Meet was held on 7th February 2010 in our newly built spacious auditorium.
Miss. Blanche Coutinho, placement officer, welcomed the dignitaries on the Dias and the alumni.
The newly built auditorium which has been used extensively for several presentations, Seminars, Campus Drives etc, are also being used for the present Alumni Meet.
Mrs. Jayasudha, Senior Faculty, Dept. of CSE, compered the entire Programme.
Ms. Navya Jyothi, Topper of the E&C Class of 2009
and Topper of the College, secured 2nd
Rank in VTU Exam-2008-2009 and she was felicitated
by Shri. M. Shashidhar, CED, SVCE.
Our Principal Dr. C. Prabhakar Reddy was unable to attend due to some pre-official engagement.
Mrs. Nagarathna P., HOD, Dept. of CSE, encouraged the student to stay in touch with their colleagues and advised to assist their juniors, which would go a long way in building up an excellent Alumni Base.
Finally Mr. M. Shashidhar concluded by sharing his future plans for the institution.
The Management of SVCE, as a token of their gesture towards the Alumni, gave them the current year's Diary 2010 with a detailed list of Faculty Members.
Mrs. Jayasudha proposed a vote of thanks.
Lunch was organized for the dignitaries and alumni by the Management.
Overall the Alumni meet ended with a beautiful goodbye... only to meet again the next year 2011.
