PRINCIPAL

Dr. C. Prabhakar Reddy has a career spanning over two decades in the field of Engineering education. Starting as a Lecturer in 1980, after completing his Masters with Distinction, he acquired a Doctorate on I.C. Engines in 1995 in a record time of 3½ years from R. E. C. Warangal (A.P.). He is one of the youngest academic senate member for VTU under which 122 Engg colleges operates and one of the key member involved in decision making about the various activates of the VTU .
COMPUTER SCIENCE & ENGINEERING

COURSE OBJECTIVES
This course aims at preparing a strong base to grow as a full-fledged Computer Science Professional with a clear focus on Computer Organization, various Logic Design Techniques with upto date Low Level and High Level Computer Languages Exposure to Linux & Unix. This Course also focuses on different aspects of Digital Logoc Design, Data Base Management etc.

Depending on the stream chosen, students who study this course will be fully equipped to enter one of the following areas:
Field of Telecommunications, Hardware Electronics Industries like Microprocessors, VLSI Design, Optical Fiber Communication and Technology labs/industries, Image Processing, Software Professionals etc.

INFRASTRUCTURE
The department as spread over 2300sqm with an independent wing block. The department houses centralized Air-conditioned and well-furnished Software labs with sufficient power backup and latest computing facilities. The department also has equipped with the hardware laboratories with modern Wi-Fi Internet connectivity.

INFORMATION SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING

CAREER OBJECTIVE
The objective of this course is to impart knowledge in different fields of Information Science, viz. Operating Systems, Data Structures, Internet Programming, MIS, DBMS etc. On completion of this course, one is expected to be an expert in the field of IT.

CAREER OPPORTUNITIES
Depending on the path chosen, students who have undergone this course will be fully equipped to enter one of the following areas:
Field of Telecommunications, Hardware Electronics Industries like Microprocessors, VLSI design , Optical Fiber Communication and Technology labs/Industries, Image Processing, Software Professionals etc.

INFRASTRUCTURE

The Department has a total instructional area of 2300sqm. The Department has setup the state of art laboratories with computing facilities and peripheral devices.

ELECTRONICS & COMUNICATION ENGINEERING.

COURSE OBJECTIVES
This course has been designed to meet the needs of Modern Communication and Electronics Industry and has particular strengths in the areas of Digital Signal Processing, VLSI Design, Radio, Radar and Microwave Electronics. It aims to produce technically competent Engineers who can enter a variety of fields of Electronics & Communications Industries or Organizations.

CAREER OPPORTUNITIES
Depending on the chosen branch, students who study this course will be fully equipped to enter one of the following areas:
Field of Telecommunications. Hardware Electronics Industries like Microprocessors VLSI design. Optical Fiber Communication Industries, Image Processing, Software Professional etc.

Two faculty members Dr. R. Venkat Siva Reddy and Mrs. S. H. Bharathi registered for PhD under the guidance of Dr. S. Ram Chandran former professor of IIT Madras.

Has inaugurated IEEE student chapter.

ELECTRICAL & ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING

COURSE OBJECTIVES
This course is designed to meet the needs of Electrical Power Generation, Power Transmission, Power Distribution, Controls, Power Utilization, Circuits, Machines, Drives etc., On completion of this course, one is expected to know the knowledge of Power generation & Power transmission and distribution.

CAREER OPPORTUNITIES
Students who study this course will be eligible to enter the following areas, field of Power Generation, Transmission, Distribution & Controls, Transformers, Induction Machine, DC & Synchronous Machine, Circuits, Networking, Instrumentation, High voltage Engg., These students can also undertake jobs in Electronics, Computer Science/Info Science, or they can cross migrate, easily to any of those branches either for studies or jobs.

CIVIL ENGINEERING

COURSE OBJECTIVES
This course is design to meet the needs of modern construction technology. Geo-Technical Engg., Irrigation, Environmental Engg., etc., By the time they complete this course they will be fully trained to design complicated structures, Study Irrigation Problems handling of waste management, Environment problems, water resources etc.,

CAREER OPPORTUNITIES
Depending on the stream chosen, students who have undergone this course will be fully-equipped to enter either in the building of skyline completed structures, Bridges, Roads or Geo-Technical, Irrigation or Environmental experts and Transportation, Traffic & Surveying & Water Resources.

MECHANICAL ENGINEERING

This courses is designed to meet the needs of modern manufacturing industries with the latest trends in manufacturing, Computer Aided Design and Manufacturing, Computer Integrated Manufacturing etc. By the time, they complete this course, they will be fully trained to suit the better needs of the industry and they will also be prepared technically competent who can work in different fields of interest.

CAREER OPPORTUNITIES
Depending on the stream chosen, students who have undergone this course will be fully-equipped to enter one of the following areas:
Production, Quality Control, Manufacturing, CAD/CAM etc.

BASIC SCIENCE

Physics lab is equipped with very high quality furniture and equipment. We have the equipment for about 15 experiments as per VTU syllabus, which required at I / II semester B.E level. Students are being trained by the above teachers and make them learn all the required experiments in the current semester and the average result is 99%.
Engineering Physics theory is also being taught by the above teachers for all the I year students and the average student Result is around 85-88%

Chemistry Laboratory is well equipped with capacity up to 25 students per batch. It has an overall area of 159.25 sq.m. including store room and HOD chamber. Our Management has provided the entire basic infrastructure namely Working Tables, Instruments, Glassware’s, chemicals etc. of worth Rs 11,33,181/- as per VTU Norms.
LIBRARY & INFORMATION CENTER

The college library has an excellent collection of books and journals on all relevant subjects. These volumes include books for required reading, reference books in all the fields and periodicals.

The main library has a good collection of audio and video CD's and photocopier for the use of faculty and students. Moreover, nodes are provided in the library for the students to send and receive e-mail and also a facility where students can reserve their books through online. The computerized information in library facilitates the used

DIGITAL CENTER

The pride of the Library is our “Digital Center”, which had a good collection of CDs & DVDs with internet connection. Access to online and offline products designed to provide Students and Faculty with a holistic and comprehensive Information Services for study and reference needs.
